# Systems integration — Genyra

> Systems integration services: contracts between systems, identifiers that mean the same thing everywhere, failure handling and a record of every handoff.

Move information between applications without losing ownership, context or control of the workflow.

## Choose the right handoff.

An API request, webhook, queue and scheduled file exchange suit different workloads. Decide what starts the transfer, how quickly it must arrive and which system is responsible for the result.

## Agree what each field means.

Map identifiers, dates, units, statuses and required fields. Decide where the authoritative record lives and how corrections travel. A successful connection is not enough if both applications interpret the same value differently.

## Design the unsuccessful request.

Set timeouts, retry rules and duplicate protection. Keep failed or rejected records visible for review. A connection that quietly loses an update or creates the same transaction twice needs more than another retry.

## Test both sides of the boundary.

Use contract tests and representative payloads, then check credentials, permissions and network access in the deployment environment. Record how the integration is monitored and who can pause, repair or replay a failed transfer.

## Show the source and destination.

Tell us which applications need to exchange information, what currently moves by hand and who owns the data. Include any API documentation or sample files that can be shared safely.
