Prototypes and technical investigations for questions that a product brochure or a demonstration cannot answer.

## What needs proving?

Turn the idea into a testable question. Can an interaction work on the target device? Can two systems exchange the required information? Does a processing method handle representative inputs? A useful experiment answers something the next decision depends on.

## Work across the boundary.

Some problems sit between application code, operating systems, infrastructure and intelligent tools. We investigate those connections rather than treating each technology as a separate answer.

- Native applications and operating-system integration
- Performance and resource use
- Distributed systems and data movement
- Intelligent tools and orchestration
- Software architecture and deployment

## Keep the result reproducible.

Record the inputs, versions, configuration and test conditions. Compare the proposed approach with the current method. Report failures and tradeoffs alongside successful examples, so the result can support an engineering decision.

## Bring the question and the material.

Share the intended use, what has already been tried and the code or data that can be reviewed. The result might be a prototype, an architecture decision or a finding that rules out an expensive direction.
